Carleton Shoenfelt & Chapman – Louisiana Dealership Defense Network
A one-year membership fee of $2,000 is required with your application.
Membership benefits:
- Ten hours of legal advice/representation for your dealership each quarter (January-March, April-June, July-September, October-December), which equals an effective rate of $50 per hour for a total of 40 hours per year. This rate is substantially below customary hourly rates for defense counsel in Louisiana.
- Fees for additional services beyond 10 hours per quarter are charged at a negotiable rate, which will be below customary hourly rates for defense counsel in Louisiana.
- Access to the LDDN section of the firm’s website, which will provide you with regular information on lawsuits of concern to the motor vehicle industry, relevant case filings in Louisiana courts, decisions of Louisiana courts and legislative updates to Louisiana laws of interest to the industry as they occur
