Sarah Jane Bradley

Sarah Jane Bradley has a history of helping others in difficult legal situations.   Sarah recently joined Carleton Hebert Wittenbrink & Shoenfelt, LLC, after establishing her bona fides working "in the trenches" for low income clients at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services. There she represented survivors of domestic abuse by helping them obtain protective orders and representing them in divorce and custody matters.  Sarah is proficient in Spanish, having studied in Spain and Chile, with previous experience as a translator and Diplomatic Liaison for the Chilean Embassy in Washington D.C., as well as having provided translation services and legal services to Spanish-speaking clients at the Legal Services office for many years.

Sarah is an excellent communicator.  While working at Southeast, Sarah managed an anti-human trafficking grant, helping survivors of human trafficking obtain legal services.  During her tenure, she was also part of a Medical-Legal Partnership with the firm and local area medical providers.  Sarah was the spokesperson/liaison between the legal aid office and the medical professionals, and provided ongoing education to doctors and nurses about legal issues that they would confront during their practice of medicine, and how to refer their patients for legal services.

In addition to Sarah's family and public law experience at "Legal Aid,"  Sarah is a "Deans List" graduate of the New England School of Law in Boston, MA, licensed to practice in both Louisiana and New York.   Sarah has excellent academic credentials, as well as broad work and cultural experience in Boston and Washington, D.C.   She worked in the offices of Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts and Congressman G.K. Butterfield of North Carolina, and is uniquely qualified by her experience to work with Carleton Hebert Wittenbrink & Shoenfelt's diverse blend of corporate and business clients.  Practicing law in Louisiana since 2013, Sarah has experience in issues regarding immigration and is developing her practice to also include corporate and business litigation.
